In striving to build the Edmonds art community, local shops generated a fun reason to enjoy art, while shopping and noshing. I was responsible for the creation and execution of marketing materials for this Edmonds Art + Wine Walk hosted on third Thursdays of the month.
A sample collection of a few of my favorite logos I've created over the years for a variety of clients. All translate well for various media including in print, signage, clothing and web.
New logo for Chuck Cady & Associates real estate team.
Campaign logo (and signage) for Adam Cornell.
ezPalette marketing research application logo.
Firethorne Lane logo created for a realtor in South Carolina.
Collection of Muzak Logos used for external and internal marketing, including applications to clothing and other promotional materials. Heart & Soul Foundation, Lifestyles music program, and other Muzak logos for grassroots promotional efforts.
Collection of Cobalt Logos used for internal Sales events in presentations, signage, and giveaways.
Client-facing Cobalt logos.
This B2B ad series showcases Cobalt's goal of helping an automotive dealer achieve the impossible. The ads series starts by stating real hard stats that are achievable sales goals. But "that's unacceptable" to Cobalt. We want more and better for you – hence the "scowling" CEO image.
The "reveal" ad tells automotive dealers how they can manifest those "dream big" ideas using Cobalt products. It also gave Cobalt an opportunity to showcase our new product line (via icons).
The campaign evolved to one off ads that focused on how the game has changed for dealers with regards to the way people shop and buy a vehicle.
I brainstormed, designed and produced all the ads as well as the art directed and styled the photoshoots.
I’ve had the opportunity to help HomeStreet Bank’s marketing department maintain brand excellence for the past 3 years through a wide variety of projects. Logos, advertising, presentations, tradeshow booths, social media, flyers and postcards, for both the corporate and mortgage divisions, are just sampling of the fun things we have developed together.
Shown are various Cobalt Exclusive Networking Party invitations for "the" annual National Automotive Dealer Association (NADA) event. The audience for the party included major movers and shakers of the automotive world. The invitations reflect the exclusivity of the event – a chance for these leaders to mingle.
I had the opportunity to work on all facets of the event marketing materials surrounding the event and our presence at every NADA for 9 years. The invitations are just snapshots, but also a fun part of the designs created for NADA.
Held in San Francisco at the Asian Art Museum. Invitation artwork was created using gold and white foils only – complimenting the venue while evoking the exclusivity of the event.
Held in Orlando at Norman’s Restaurant.
I created an exciting theme for the EdCCF Havana Nights Gala and Auction event that attracted more people than ever to the event. The event materials I generated included menus, oversized signage, tickets and more. There was a lot of image retouching, print and project management involved, which I enjoyed. In the end more money was raised the previous year for the foundation.
Various print projects I've designed, art directed and produced from conception to print.
This very personal booklet was generated to give an unknown adoptive mother the confidence in the Connell's ability to nurture and love her child. (Side note. Even though this was a very quick turn project, the PDF of this booklet worked in matching a child to his family before the printed booklet was off the press! Congrats!)
ezPalette is a web application that allows users to create collages for market research. The tool was created for market research professionals, and it provides an easy and personal way for respondents to visually and creatively express their thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
The brand was developed to appeal to both market researcher and those that actually create the collages. The application interface had to be familiar, clean and easy to use. The product itself makes it easy for a market researcher to gather info remotely and speed up the information gathering process.
This was a project created from the ground up. Logo design, application design and website design. I hired a web designer and art directed and managed the project until it was passed off to the developers for final implementation.
Fun promotional campaigns for various clients.
I’ve been lucky to be able to work on so many unique projects. My attention to detail can be utilized for books as well as helping authors promote themselves.
Worked directly with the author on design and production of his 444 page book. (more to come)
Various campaigns I created to help sales people have an edge at a show and get that first conversation.
A fun sales campaign that educated our client's on Cobalt's Reputation Management product. I created and managed digital ads across all automotive B2B media, a landing page for contest, and Rep Man giveaway.
Set in Vegas, this "Power, Proof and Perks" promo campaign drove the GM audience to the Cobalt booth at regional shows. Starting with a direct mail postcard we encouraged clients to stop by our booth to hear about our product (Power), grab a drink (Proof), and reach into our custom display for a chance to win money or prizes (Perks). I designed, art directed and managed the project from start to finish (Pow).
This "Lunch and Learn" promo was a way to get our sales people appointments in the service department in dealerships. Auto service managers never really "felt the love" from sales people. This custom lunchbox gave them no excuse to have lunch while having a quick word with our salesperson. Included custom lunch box (sales person filled it), branded salt and pepper shakers and digital ads to support the campaign and generate interest. I worked on this campaign from concept to completion.
I was able to create a fresh, updated look for the latest gala fundraiser. Using ECC’s brand colors and elements, I created a design evoking the feeling of how participants inspire transformation within students. Thinking about how all the students’ learn – firing brain cells, like bright idea particles – also give the gala design a festive feel and creates the mood for the event.
I've worked on a number of trade show booths (big and small) for NADA and local shows with various clients. Here you'll see a representation of banners, signage and wall displays.
